This 9' piece is designed to function as a lead rope for the trail and for foal training. The looped end attaches to the bridle so when you need a break there is no need to use your reins as a lead (NOT a safe practice). For foal training it is used as a lead and is very helpful for trailer loading. This product is comparable to Mr. Parelli's new "Get Down String"
